1) This one-time quest which can be picked up at level 75 starts with Engineer Rekon at the base of the Chrysalis Alliance. You must have completed the quest "I Want to Fly" and should already be standing in front of the bare-chested Dwarf near the fountain.

2) Pick the quest "Let's Go Gathering in the Air" (the lower link). When you ask Rekon to give you additional information about flying, he will tell you that there are many things that can be done while airborne. For someone like you who look as if you have just started on your aerial career it would be best to begin with gathering Starstones.
Rekon will give you 10 Starstone Extraction Orders and tell you to use them on Starstones, regardless of color - there are green, red and blue ones - and bring back 10 units of Starstone Extract.

3) Use your Aerial Transformation skill and change into a Falcon resp. an Owl. As you will remember, in a transformed state the "Enter Chat" mode will automatically be activated so that you can control your flight with the keys W (forward), S (suspended), A (turn left), D (turn right), Q (descend) and E (ascend).
Fly around until you see one of the Starstones that are floating in the air over the entire continent of Gracia. The Starstone Extract that Rekon needs can easily be obtained by using the Extraction Orders.

Just target the Starstone, double-click on a Starstone Extraction Order (or use it via a hotkey), and the Starstone Extract goes into your quest inventory. When you have 10 units of Starstone extract, no matter what color, return to Engineer Rekon at the Alliance base.

4) Rekon will be very pleased with the quality of the Starstone Extract you brought him and give you as a reward a Skillbook - Starstone Extraction Technology.

By double-clicking the Skillbook you will learn the active skill Starstone Gathering. This skill is very easy to use: just target a Starstone, activate the skill and the Stone is in your bag.
